This is where I write my Journal

*sarcasm*

Well, hi, hello there, and welcome back, Cat! So what made you disappear for nearly two months?

Cat: "...dunno. Stuff and traveling and away and yea."

Have you been working on your art, then?

Cat: "...Sortof, I mean I have some sketches and stuff and things..."

So there, I am finally back from a loooong hiatus. :D
I realized that I have only written two journals since vacations started, and school starts again next week.

I'm really exited, but a little nervous too, because it's a whole new school and loads of new people. >.<

So, a lot of things has happened this summer, so I'll just write briefly about each (and still this journal is going to be a bit long)

First of all, my grandpa got sick. His legs hurt so much he could hardy walk, but luckely he's feeling better now. I was really worried for him a while...
The first week of vacations mom traveled to him and grandma whilst the doctors were looking for some meds that would work.

I can't say that I am very impressed by Norway's medical system. Before mom came over, they had tried to submit him to a hospital several times, but they kept sending him back the next day.

After mom came, they got him into the hospital, and a while later they moved him to a different hospital for tests. What surprised us, though, was that after giving him the medications, they sent him back within a few days, before really knowing if he got any better. TT_TT

I'm feeling really relieved that he's doing OK now, though. :3

Also!

Thailand! I was there!

I loved it, although in my opinion it was too hot. *used to the cold*
There was a lot of Japanese families there, and there was Pocky!
Yay Pocky!

We visited places like Reylay (spelling?) beach and went snorkeling. And I got to both hold TWO snakes and a lizard, and ride an elephant. (I loved the snakes the mostest)

Everything there was painfully cheap, and there was only pirate copies of games, music and movies. Think we cared?
Nah. Both me and my brother own an R4 chip now, so we can download all the games we want and play them on our DS's! Mwahaha!

I myself have fallen in love with...
-Animal crossing :WW (I neglected it for only a couple of days, and my fav character moved out! Noo!)
-Touch detective (I love the style! >.< I must do fanart one of these days)
-Luminous arch (Fighting-style is not that great, but I LOVE the story and the characters. So far Mel is my favorite)
- Professor Layton and the curious village. (But the version I downloaded was bugged, so I need to download a different ROM. :cries: )
- Trace memory ( D is so cute! But I got mad when I almoust was able to unlock his memories, but forgot ONE THING. Waah! )
- Hotel dusk: room 215 (One of the best games I've ever played! I love the animation!)

I've fallen in love with the adventure game genre.

The last week I hae been at grandma and grandpa's house.
Mom dragged me out to do some shopping, and I actually found myself several pairs of shoes! I usually don't find any shoes, and I usually don't care either way, but I'd never expected to get so much. O__O

I was lucky otherwise too, because in a bookstore for used books, I found 4 old issues of Shonen Jump (they stopped giving out the Norwegian version about a year ago and the imported english issues are way too expensive. ;__; )
I also found a volume of the InuYasha series that I didn't have.

When I got home, I found on my bed--- a brand new MacBook!
I'd ordered it only a about a week earlier, so I was surprised to see it!
I have, however, found out that setting up internet is a pain, and the default web browser, Safari, sucks.
So I downloaded Firefox instead.

Now I've only got to find out how to install MSN on this thing...

Well, I guess that's it for this time. I'm going to try and find a hairdresser that can cut my hair within next monday. And I gotta find me a red suit and a green-blue-ish tie, because I'm cosplaying Apollo Jusitice for desucon this year.

*wants a new CSS*
